When tragedy struck, members of business networking chapter BNI Collingtree decided to support those in need. Cancer has no boundaries and families of BNI members have been touched by the disease and comforted by the staff and facilities of Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

In recognition BNI Collingtree are sponsoring a Charity Dinner and Auction at Highgate House, Creaton on Friday 20th May 2011. Other BNI Chapters are using their contacts to assist with this fun packed fundraising event.

Event organiser Christine Newman of The Graduate employment agency 07812039805 and Dawn Murphy of Barclays Bank PLC 07824528473 are offering tables for ten to companies and organisations at £300 or individual tickets at £35.

John Helm, Cynthia Spencer Fund Raising Manager says, “I am delighted that the business community has once again offered to support our work helping so many people through difficult times”

Donations of interesting lots are sought for the auction. Offers to David Shrewsbury of Hadland Chartered Surveyors 01604 639657. It is hoped that the Northamptonshire business community will ensure that BNI’s initiative of arranging this Charity Dinner provides much needed funds for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in the county.
