Networking organisation opens doors to local businesses
Local networking organisation, BNI, is opening its doors to Northamptonshire businesses at a Visitors Day on Tuesday, 5th June 2007.
With turnover achieved directly from referrals passed between businesses in the group nearing £250,000 for April alone, this presents an excellent opportunity for company directors to open their doors to new customers and meet other business owners to discuss local business issues.
Chapter Director, Richard Dobson, said “This Visitors Day will allow enterprising business owners to network and present opportunities for their business. It is criminal that so much business is leaving the county when there are outstanding companies offering every product and service we require on the doorstep. BNI is a business referral organisation which is based upon relationships. Our aim is for local companies to attend the breakfast to see how they could benefit from being a member – we particularly have a desperate need for a builder, security patrol company, mobile mechanic and courier company because there is business waiting to be done. However, several other business categories are yet to be filled.”
BNI meets every Tuesday for breakfast at The Riverside, near Billing Aquadrome and starts at 6:30am with open networking, a full English breakfast is served at 7am and the meeting finishes at 8:30am. Visitors must register in advance by emailing a although the cost of £7.50 is payable on the door. This is an opportunity to present your business to more than 50 local companies.
