Some weeks ago the Leadership team was made aware that the Chapter had no long term future at Kingsthorpe Golf Club. We have until the end of February to seek a new venue.
A number of members have helped in the search for which I am very grateful.
Had there been a possibility of remaining at Kingsthorpe Golf Club the changes for breakfast and room hire would have been increased.
It is clear that there are a wide range of prices for venues out there. The Saints are in the Premier Division for charges as well as rugby football.
We have located a venue at the right price with good accessibility and for the first time in the history of the Chapter exclusivity during the period of our meeting time. We propose to try out the Riverview Restaurant, Station Road, Great Billing on 9th January.
The Leadership Team would welcome your comments on this trial. If successful we would make the move as quickly as possible after the 9th.
