A Northampton childrens charity has been boosted by £600 after accountants from BNI members Moore Stephens won a Pop Quiz in the town - and proved it's more than just numbers they specialise in!
The teams had to answer a series of questions on pop running from the 1960's to the 1990's. And it's obvious they are all keen music fans at Moore Stephens as the team displayed an impressive knowledge to clinch first prize.
It all meant that the Gosset children's ward at Northampton General Hospital has now received a cheque for £600 - half of it the first prize handed to the Moore Stephens team, with organisers Lloyds TSB doubling it with their own donation.
"The evening was very successful and was a great fun way to raise money for charity," said Jack Hawkins of Lloyds TSB. "The Moore Stephens team were in top form, and we were delighted to add our contribution to their chosen charity."
