Networking means more than just making valuable contacts for BNI member Julie Holdom. She also uses it as a way of raising money for cancer research!
Julie, from Milton Keynes based Hyperformance Events, has added just added another £750 to the total she has raised so far this year after completing a 10 kilometre walk - and nearly half came from business contacts at the Collingtree BNI Chapter.
Explained Julie: "Fellow members have been very supportive and generous, and have donated £280 of the £750 I raised this time.
"It's a fantastic achievement, and shows the kind of fantastic support members give each other."
Julie is an active and enthusiastic campaigner for cancer research and charities. Hyperformance Events is hoping to raise a five-figure fee when it organises the second Formula One Charity Party at Whittlebury Hall on Friday, December 6.
Formula One driver Mark Webber has already pledged his support - and presence - and organisers are hoping two more F1 drivers, Anthony Davidson and Alan McNish, will also be able to make it to the black tie event.
