Collingtree BNI's new website is an award winner - just a month after it was launched!
The International Association of Web Masters and Designers (IAWMD) has chosen this site - www.bninorthampton.co.uk - to display the 2002-2003 Golden Web Award. And chapter director Julie Holdom, of VERBATIM CENTRAL COUNTIES, paid tribute to the work of designer and Collingtree member Duncan Webster, of 1PCS.
"Every member is so pleased with our site, Duncan proved to us what a good website designer he is - and this award is a tribute to the hard work he's put in to getting the site up and running and making it so successful," said Julie.
Modest Duncan said the award was a collective achievement: "It's a great tribute to all of us at our chapter, and I'm delighted that everyone's so pleased with the site," he said.
"I know we've only been up and running for a month, but I decided to get the IAWMD to take a look at what we've acheived so far, and happily they were highly impressed - hence their immediate decision to grant us licence to display their 'award winner' logo."
A statement from the IAWMD also paid tribute to the work of everyone at the Collingtree chapter: "You and Your Staff at BNI Northampton have obviously worked very hard, so proudly display your award."
The Golden Web Awards is presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.
