New Website to be the Platform for Membership Drive

09/04/02

Networkers from the Business Network International's Collingtree Chapter have joined forces to launch their very own website!

The website - designed by Collingtree member Duncan Webster, of 1PCS (1st Point Computer Solutions), has been launched to offer "the ultimate guide" to BNI, and inform potential new members how they would benefit from joining the group.

It's also been set up to give site visitors a link to all current members of the Collingtree Chapter.

Said Duncan: "The site have several aims - but essentially we want to attract new members and increase the chapter membership to 40. The more members the more business we do each week, and that can only be to the benefit of
everyone...our current membership and the people who are thinking of joining us.

"We also want to create a portal for all current members to direct internet traffic to their own sites, to create external links to members sites to improve their search engine positions, to allow members to easily access contact information of other members from a central location, and to heighten the profile of the BNI in Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties."

The launch of the website has coincided with the handover to a new management team at the Collingtree branch. Julie Holdom, of Verbatim Central Counties, has taken over as chapter director from printer Colin Brett.

Said Duncan: "It's an exciting time for the Collingtree Chapter...Colin's team has thrown down the gauntlet to Julie's team to match or surpass the 6 new members he achieved during his her term in office, and on her behalf we're all confident that can be achieved, because BNI has so much to offer local businessmen and women."
